Voice over IP – System Tester     (1998-2000)

· Analyzed and scheduled bug fix, produced status reports, improved product quality and efficiency on voice over IP gateways and gatekeeper products before they went out to market.

· Developed test plan and executed test cases for internet applications - OSP, proxy, firewall, IP phone - to add more value on Lucent’s voice over IP products.

· Tested and implemented the postpaid and prepaid billing servers to increase the applications on Lucent products and widen their acceptability.

· Tested VoIP interoperability with Cisco’s to enlarge the compliance between two products.

Sr. Project Engineer – Global Technical Services     (1994-1998)

·   Supported the MCI/BT and Telfort Joint Venture project in Holland with network design, planning, provisioning and installation, which resulted in the Ericsson switches being installed ahead of schedule.

·   Provided critical project management support on complex, non-standard international networks; projects were completed on time and within budget.

·   Technology: Ericsson - AXE-10, TransLocal 2 SSP, TransGate 3 SCP.

             Frame Relay - BayNetwork BNX system, Stratacom IPX system.

 

Project Engineer – Digital Network Engineering      1992-1994

·   Provided comprehensive engineering support for planning, developing, implementation and testing of new service features, and hardware expansion on the Guam international gateway switch; this multi-million dollar project was completed within budget and on time.

·   Supported and coordinated with Guam Finance, Billing, Marketing and Operations on international voice and data services which resulted in the new services and products being delivered to market ahead of the competitors.

·   Successfully completed results in special projects including:

·               Guam Naval Base payphone deployment and installation increased MCI revenue.

·               Implemented and tested DCME equipment which resulted in more calls on the same trunks.

·   Successfully completed the FG-D software for Collins DTS switches on time that saved ITT-USTS millions of dollars.

·   Developed the CCS #7 protocol conversion plan which becomes the company's foundation for the AIN and ISDN network.

·   Designed and tested the DEXCP SCP for calling card verification and N00 translation via the SS7 network to increase new services.
